In 1981, he earned a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Law Review.
Bruce is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the American Society of Law and Medicine. He was admitted to practice by the Florida Supreme Court in 1981, the US. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1982, the Trial Bar of the Federal District Court in 1987 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1989.
