As an Inspector in the East Metropolitan Police District for the Western Australia Police, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Kim has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Western Australia Police is one of eight police jurisdictions in Australia and is responsible for policing the world's largest single police jurisdiction covering 2.5 million square kilometers with a structure comprising three regions, 14 districts and 157 police stations. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of all people in Western Australia by contributing to making their State a safe and secure place.
Mr. Hutchinson has 38 years of experience in the police force. He is responsible for the assurance of good police practices and quality policing as well as overseeing police conduct and performances, and reporting to the Superintendent. During his collegiate career, Kim earned certification in Management from Charles Sturt University. He is a member of the International Police Association.
