Five Construction Workers Injured in New Jersey Roof Collapse
Five men were injured when a roof collapsed underneath them in a New Jersey work accident that could lead to potential workers' compensation litigation.

In October 2011, five construction workers were injured during a roof collapse which caused them to fall into the building below. The accident sparked the interest of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which investigated the accident and determined the probable cause of the collapse to be weak roof trusses.
According to the Asbury Park Press, the five men were treated for injuries ranging from chest pains to broken legs at a nearby hospital. Most were released once their injuries were treated, but one man required an extended overnight stay to monitor his condition.
